Backpack Giveaway
On Tuesday, August 21, 2018, Donovan Mitchell surprised several hundred students at Kearns High School, Salt Lake City, with a special assembly where he gave them t-shirts and backpacks and answered their questions.
“The opportunity that I’ve been able to have wouldn’t be there without education,” Donovan told the students, who had all been invited to this assembly because of the extra effort they made in school the previous year. "Today I just wanted to give back to you guys for your hard work."
